This has been quite the process to post ... it's no wonder I don't do it more often!
So back in the end of January we flew down to Fort Lauderdale Florida after some delays and crazy weather we arrived at our hotel at 2:30am. We boarded our ship the next day this is our final look at Florida as we headed to Aruba.

This was the Grand Princess as she left port behind us.

Mom and Dad on the "secret deck"
Turned out it wasn't so secret ... a few others clearly knew about this deck the morning we went through the Panama Canal.

The first "formal night" we sure enjoyed the food...

Chad and Sara

Al and Velma
The atrium
Sara was hypnotized - it was pretty funny. She lost her dog called "I just passed gas" and went around the room yelling for it...

Welcome to Aruba!
there was an open shopping center and these boats would bring people in to the mall and drop them off

We were waiting around for the shops to open

One night on the ship they put on a fruit display - it was so amazing!

This was a cool pineapple palm tree that was set up

Gorgeous flowers

Welcome to Columbia

This was a scorching hot day and these guys were dressed up head to toe in black. They would move and gesture only when money was put in their buckets

Wade feeding the pigeons

The market place.

The Columbian women. One dollar per picture...

The old city in Cartegena - lots of old forts and brick walls

This was the view coming into Columbia. We certainly didn't expect the city to be so large - all made from drug money!
