Another week at the cabin! Lucky me! Teusday and Wenesday were really hot but by Thursday the smoke from the fires was so thick that the heat of the sun couldn't penetrate through. There were two major fires in the area. On directly across the lake from us and the other halfway between Chase and Kamloops just down the valleyfrom the cabin. It kindof felt baterrible having fun when we knew that so many people were evacuating their homes...

The Smoke by Friday

The girls took to sanding.
Chose drywall dust when it was clear there wasn't a suntan in their day.

Karlee's Heather...

Uncle Wayne took us girls white water rafting down the Adam's River. He did manage to dump all of us out of the boat! Brat! we tried to get him back to no avail...
Marty and Duncan met us when we were done.

Because there was little chance of getting a suntan I was glad I brought my music books...
I still suck, but it sure was fun!

Uncle Wayne's first ski an over eight years.
